Lorikeets are a common site in Papa New Guinea. They often fly and flock high up in the trees so it is often hard to get up close. On a recent trip to New Guinea we saw many of these birds and enjoyed listening to them chirp and sing. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rainbow_Lorikeet
We saw this black bear on Moose WIlson Road early in the morning. It was raining hard and he was high up in the trees for most of the morning. We tried to get a good pic but the conditions were dark and raining...and he just never really posed for us.
We spotted this Bull Moose near Moose Junction. We took pics of him for nearly 30 minutes but again the conditions during this shoot were awful. We were being pelted with rain and ice but braved the elements for this shot. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moose
