Jaguar Tulsa Zoo
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/JaguarI was hiking around Sprague Lake in the Rocky Mountain National Park and took this photo looking toward the Bear Lake area. The lake was just beginning to freeze and everything was absolutely still. In just a couple of days the lake surface would be completely frozen. http://rockymountainnationalpark.com/trails/sprague_lake.html
This is an unmarked trail near Logan Pass in Glacier National Park. This was one of our favorite hikes because the wildflowers dominated both sides of the trail and the grade was easy...at least for a while. We eventually scaled a mountain but looked forward to making our way back to this beautiful place. http://www.glaciernationalpark.name/logan_pass/
On our first day in Glacier we were making our way to our accommodations in the many glacier area. We were passing Mary's Lake and saw this black bear eating berries. First wildlife shot of the trip and first bear as well. http://www.nps.gov/glac/naturescience/bears.htm
One of my favorite captures of the Glacier trip. We were near the rest stop at Grinnell Glacier when this Ram came out and made this perfect pose for us. http://www.nhptv.org/natureworks/bighornsheep.htm
On a 14 mile round trip hike to Grinnell Glacier we found ourselves sharing the trail with this Bighorn Ram. He didn't want to retreat off the trail so we did. He passed by within touching distance. We really didn't have anywhere to go as we were on a rock ledge and he didn't seem overly bothered by us. It was amazing!
I shot this photograph at the terminal end of the main trail at Logan's Pass. Just above Hidden Lake this mountain goat surveyed the valley and I took this picture as he did. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mountain_goat
First and only moose I saw while at Glacier National Park. She saw a companion standing across the lake and ran to catch up as quickly as possible. For a while I thought she was coming right at me. http://www.nhptv.org/natureworks/moose.htm
While hiking in Glacier we came across this marmot in a very picturesque setting. We spent 30 minutes taking photo's. A great day and memory. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yellow-bellied_marmot
We started this hike well beyond the second lake in the valley far below. We still had a ways to go to make it to the glacier but stopped frequently to take photos like this one. http://www.bigskyfishing.com/National_parks/glacier/grinnell_glacier_trail.shtm
This is the MacGregor Ranch in Estes Park Colorado. We have stayed in a cabin near here several times on vacation as a family. http://www.macgregorranch.org/
I was near the Tower-Rossevelt area of Yellowstone and saw this Pronghorn in a shallow valley. I hiked down about 100 yards and just sat there with my camera. In time the antelope walked within 30 yards of me. http://www.yellowstone.net/wildlife/pronghorn.htm
Aspen stand in Rocky Mountain National Park near Lawn Lake. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aspen
While driving across Trail Ridge Road in Colorado we noticed these rocks near the top of the divide and stopped and did some climbing. I snapped a few photographs of the boys and this is one of my favorite images. http://rockymountainnationalpark.com/pages/trail_ridge_road.html
This coyote was chasing after a rabbit in the Moraine Valley of RMNP. I snapped this image as he passed these elks in the background. http://www.nps.gov/romo/naturescience/coyote_rmnp.htm

These Snow Leopard cubs were out playing and I was able to capture this image. Another favorite. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snow_leopard
While speaking at a conference near Quartz Mountain I took a photograph of this particular deer. I din't see any bucks but I must have seen 100 small does like this one. http://www.quartzmountainresort.com/
I was leaving Lamar Valley in Yellowstone for the day and the sun was setting. I saw this black bear near the road and had just enough light to take this picture. I love the setting and backdrop as it reminds me of the vastness of Yellowstone. http://www.yellowstone.net/topten/lamarvalley.htm
I was hiking in Yellowstone and came over a ridge and this grizzly (on a buffalo carcass) was less than 50 yards away. Took a quick pick and made my retreat. http://www.yellowstone.net/wildlife/grizzly2.htm
Tiger at the Tulsa Zoo posing in beautiful light. I have used this photo as a frequent computer wall paper. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malayan_tiger
This picture hangs in my office as one of my favorites. I was in Estes Park Colorado and saw this Bull Elk up on a ridge early in the morning. I climbed up the ridge and slowly approached this bull on all fours hoping to get this particular image. http://estes-park.com/
Captured this unique photo while at the local zoo. The usually elusive leopard came out and put on quite the show. This was my favorite pic of the day. http://animals.nationalgeographic.com/animals/mammals/leopard/
Teri and I were on a drive a couple of miles from our house and spotted this red fox near the road. It had a den no more than 50 yards off the road. I went back home and got my camera and to my surprise the fox was still nearby and relatively unafraid of us. http://www.wildlifedepartment.com/wildlifemgmt/species/redfox.htm
Driving down the road and spotted this hawk. I was able to safely pull off the road and snap this photograph before he flew away. http://oklahomabirdsandbutterflies.com/cat/3/5
I went out for an evening drive and took along my camera and ran across this whitetail doe and yearling fawn. They were watching some people walking nearby and I snapped this photo. http://www.nhptv.org/natureworks/whitetaileddeer.htm

A group of Mouflon sheep photographed at the Calvary Boy's Ranch in Eufaula Oklahoma. Mouflon are native to the Caucasus, northern Iraq, and Iran. Small herds are also found in Cyprus, Corsica, and the Balkans. In the US they are captive bred and often sold to Big Game farms where they are hunted for trophy mounts. http://www.blueplanetbiomes.org/mouflon.htm
On a recent trip to Colorado I spotted a group of deer jumping over a fence just outside of Westcliffe Colorado near the Cotapaxi turnoff. Photographed this Mule Deer Buck in mid-flight. http://www.muledeer.org/hunting/mule-deer-facts

While traveling in West Texas (Lubbock area) I spotted a group of Jackrabbits and this one stopped long enough to let me get this photo. http://animals.nationalgeographic.com/animals/mammals/jackrabbit/
Well, this is not exactly a wildlife shot but I thought I would post it anyway. This is Karagold's Raising the Bar (Piper). She is one of our Golden Retrievers and she just finished her AKC Championship! She was handled by Brianna Bischoff of Houston Texas. Here is a link to one of Piper's tribute pages: http://karagold.com/Index.asp?ID=99
The clouds where out and the wind was blowing about 20 mph but I still attempted to shoot these bleeding heart flowers anyway http://flowerinfo.org/bleeding-heart-flower
