Lorikeets are a common site in Papa New Guinea. They often fly and flock high up in the trees so it is often hard to get up close. On a recent trip to New Guinea we saw many of these birds and enjoyed listening to them chirp and sing. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rainbow_Lorikeet
We spotted this Bull Moose near Moose Junction. We took pics of him for nearly 30 minutes but again the conditions during this shoot were awful. We were being pelted with rain and ice but braved the elements for this shot. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moose
