The lake was just beginning to freeze and everything was absolutely still. In just a couple of days the lake surface would be completely frozen. http://rockymountainnationalpark.com/trails/sprague_lake.html

 • This is an unmarked trail near Logan Pass in Glacier National Park. This was one of our favorite hikes because the wildflowers dominated both sides of the trail and the grade was easy...at least for a while. We eventually scaled a mountain but looked forward to making our way back to this beautiful place. http://www.glaciernationalpark.name/logan_pass/

 • On a 14 mile round trip hike to Grinnell Glacier we found ourselves sharing the trail with this Bighorn Ram. He didn't want to retreat off the trail so we did. He passed by within touching distance. We really didn't have anywhere to go as we were on a rock ledge and he didn't seem overly bothered by us. It was amazing!
